Marr Area Partnership runs an Initiative Grant Scheme for local communities. As well as this, we have information about a range of other funding opportunities that may be useful for community projects and initiatives.
Marr Area Partnership produces a bi-monthly newsletter, which provides links to useful websites under community related themes.
Marr Area Partnership has helped to develop a ‘Your Hall Manual’. This document is used by village hall committees to assist in the management and development of halls and compliance with regulations.

The Marr Area Partnership is a community development organisation which supports the people and communities of the Marr Area of Aberdeenshire. The aim of the Marr Area Partnership is to to encourage and enable the economic, environmental and social future of this beautiful part of the country by supporting communities to achieve and maintain sustainable development. It is a registered charity, managed by a board of volunteer representatives from communities and partner agencies, working with three part time Development Officers.
