Our Partners
By definition, MAP works with other relevant groups and organisations to bring most benefit to rural communities and ensure the sustainability of projects. Marr is the largest area in Aberdeenshire with the smallest population so our work supporting communities is made more challenging given this spatial dispersion. Marr also overlaps into the Cairngorms National Park.
As a result, our closest partnerships are with Aberdeenshire Council and the Cairngorms National Park Authority, but we have many more.
We sometimes see ourselves as joining the dots, making connections between all the different groups, individuals and funding/assistance bodies there are out there.

MAP works with the Cairngorms National Park Authority (CNPA) by providing support to community organisations and voluntary groups in the eastern Cairngorms, including but not limited to: community action plans general capacity-building support sustainability, resilience, economic challenges
MAP also assists with signposting and supporting applications to funding opportunities via the Cairngorms Trust
